Elie Hirschfeld conquered the 2010 Israman Ironman Triathlon, January 29th in Eilat Israel. At 60, the eldest competitor was 54 out of 85 completing the course in 15 hrs, 13 minutes. 2.4 mile Red Sea swim, 112 mile Negev desert bicycle and 26.2 mile run. Daughter Daniella (29) won 2nd place in her age class for the Half Ironman Triathlon in 8 hours, 17 minutes.
